Singapura Cat

Author's Note: Since I think that the Singapura Cat is the best cat breed to me, I want to prove to you in this piece that the Singapura is the best kind of cat you could have for a pet.


Large almond shaped hazel eyes looked into mine as a weightless body leaped onto my lap. Stroking its soft fur the animal purred kneading my leg with its little paws as my fingers glided through the short coat. The Singapura is the best kind of cat that you could ever have for a pet.


Some cats have some genetic illnesses and some don’t. But the Singapura only has about 1 well known one. It is acondition known as uterine inertia which is the inability to expel the fetus due to weak muscles. Otherwise they are very healthy compared to other cat breads like the Munchkin. The Munchkin has about 4 well known genetic health problems. The best known one is their spine problem.


As some people know, some cats love attention and are very active. The Singapura love attention (which isn’t a bad thing). But they dislike harsh, loud noises and do not tolerate solitude well. They are a great companion cats for people who spend a great deal of time at home and on your free time you could teach them tricks. Playing and learning tricks are one of their main priorities. Also, if you need a ‘helper’ around the house, then the Singapura is the best cat for you.


If you love cats that shed a lot, then the Singapura is not the cat for you. The Singapura is an average shedder and requiring brushing around every other day and even weekly brushing is enough. But if you have a Main Coon then you are in trouble. The need to be brushed every day and they are VERY hairy.


So if you are looking for a cat, the Singapura is the cat for you. So that is why most people say that the best cat bread you could have is the Singapura.
